Gourmet French Chocolates - Lemon Yoghurt, Hazelnut Praline in Candy Shell, Mussel Shell Praline and Yoghurt-Coated Almonds with Candied Orange Peel

Yet another post on the treasure trove of tidbits from France... this time, it's gourmet chocolates.
It was purchased in a large mix-and-match bag.An interesting assortment of shapes and colours.
It was a mix-and-match bag, so whatever looked interesting was picked. And indeed, I love the aesthetics of it... from the quail egg-like one to the dark mussel shell. Even the coloured round ones are interesting, especially that reddish one with green blotches. I'll just post about the interesting ones...

Lemon Yoghurt Chocolate
Yoghurt-coated candied lemon chocolate.
At least, I think that's what it was. The inner most kernel is a candied lemon, I think. It's coated in chocolate (I think dark), which is then coated with this layer of yoghurt-like chocolate.

Really nice medley of flavours. The slight tartness of the lemon and yoghurt were tempered by the earthiness of the chocolate.

Candy-Coated Hazelnut Praline
Candy-coated praline.
This is the quail egg-looking one.

Surprisingly, it was the candy shell that impressed me. The hazelnut praline filling was good, but the crunch of the candy shell gave it that extra pop. Like a super crunchy Ferrero Rocher.

Mussel Shell Praline
Darkly coloured shell praline.
This one was almost exactly like those Belgian shell chocolate pralines. Except that the outer layer of chocolate appeared thicker and firmer. And of course, its shell was darkened, perhaps to look more like a real mussel.

Yoghurt-Coated Almonds with Candied Orange Peel
Candied orange peel pieces were mixed between the yoghurt-coated nut flakes.
Well, I *think* it's candied orange peel. But it was definitely a candied citrus fruit. Nice combination of flavours, with a mix of crunch and chewiness.

The rest of them were either generic, or else I couldn't make sense of them heh. But overall, they were all good, as expected of French chocolates!
