One of my favourites from Johan @ Westgate, Singapore - Apple Tea Time bun, especially when it's just freshly baked!
It's basically a soft bun with tea leaf overload and an occasional bit of (dried? candied?) sweet apple.
There's not much apple though... I'd have preferred it if they had more apple bits in it. For instance, in this entire cross section of the bun, there's only one apple bit in the bottom left. Even then, it wasn't very big.
It's really like the bun version of apple tea! I'm not sure if the tea leaves were infused with the earl grey bergamot flavour, but the bun somewhat reminded me a lot of the Earl Grey bun they had... it's a similar concept indeed - a bun version of a drink.
The tea fragrance comes out stronger if you warm it up in an oven before hand, or purchase it right when the bakery has just baked it, although it's hard to catch their exact timing.
I also loved how they named the bun... "Tea Time" has a very nice connotation to it.
