Maple Financier

Another tasty treat from Gateau Festa Harada!! The Maple Financier.

Aside from the usual awesome texture, moisture, and buttery cake flavour, it had a very strong maple flavour. (The relevant ingredient was maple sugar.) I loved the flavour, but it was almost a bit too sweet for my liking.

I also almost thought I felt the distinct warmth of liquor spreading down my throat... but strangely, there was no such ingredient printed... *blinkblink*

I couldn't find the product information online, but this was from the Hanshin Umeda store in Osaka.
