Hojicha KitKat

Hm... so it's a chocolate run now eh...

Anyway, someone bought back this Hojicha Kitkat (or Hōjicha/Houjicha KitKat) from Japan. It's a limited edition KitKat flavour from Kyoto!
Houjicha KitKat box.
Each serving was individually wrapped, with two fingers in each wrapper.
Hojicha is Japanese tea brewed from toasted or burnt tea leaves, and it adds that burnt, earthy flavour to the tea.

Here, the chocolate is actually a kinda light brown, and a bit greyish compared to the usual, redder brown of normal chocolate.
The shade of the chocolate was a lighter, slightly greyish brown.
As for the taste, well, I don't know how to describe it except that it tasted like Starbucks' hojicha latte, except it was sweeter and the burnt tea flavour wasn't as strong as the latte I had. I guess that's to be expected, because these flavoured KitKats tend to use white chocolate as the base.

Not much else to comment on it, since it's rather standard otherwise. But I liked the unique colour and the burnt tea flavour!
